Touches of Fall

'Tis the season for cozy nights, warm blankets, and hot apple cider. I love for our home to reflect the changing seasons, and to make it a warm and inviting place. This means adding little touches of fall, or whatever season we find ourselves in, throughout our house. We've been homeowners for exactly one year now, and because last fall we were just moving in (and getting ready for Henry's arrival), decorating for autumn fell to the wayside. This year we've been able to take time and we've enjoyed getting into Halloween, and it's neat to start collecting items I'll want to display year after year.

As for today, we're off to Target to finish up a little "Welcome Home" basket for a new baby in our family of friends. Her name is Zelia Jane and she's just over a week old. It's a cold one today, so I'm really excited that both Henry and I are wearing thick sweaters. Have a happy Wednesday, everyone!
